What We Offer
Everything we do is rooted in our Christian faith and guided by our values of compassion, inclusion, and professional excellence.
Counseling Services
Our support options include workshops, counseling groups, and individual sessions. All services begin with an initial screening to create a personalized support plan with a licensed counselor.
Your counselor will also connect you with on-campus support and off-campus referrals, as needed.
Therapy Assistance Online (TAO)
TAO is a free digital resource available to all Calvin students, faculty, and staff, with self-guided tools and interactive modules to support your mental health.
Self-Help Resources
In addition to TAO, we've curated more resources for navigating a variety of topics, including substance abuse, self care, relationships, specific diagnoses, grief, and more.
Resources range from reputable websites to podcasts to books you can check out at Hekman Library.
Wellness Room and Equipment
You can reserve our wellness room, which includes a massage chair and other materials to manage stress. We also provide journals and coloring books, and lend out light boxes for help during the months with less sunlight.
