Student Opportunities

Join us as we dig deep into language, faith, and friendship. We are readers and writers who take our work seriously –  and have fun together doing it!

English majors participate widely on campus:

  •    In student-run publications, such as the campus newspaper, Chimes, and the creative magazine, Dialogue;
  •    In arts spaces, such as the Calvin Theater Company, Calvin’s musical opportunities (orchestra, band, choirs), Rangeela,      Dance Guild, and the Arts Collaborative;
  •    In research spaces, including as Vande Kopple fellows and McGregor fellows;
  •    In the Calvin Center for Faith & Writing, serving as Student Fellows and committee members for Center events;
  •    And of course, in all kinds of other areas, including dorm leadership, worship opportunities, athletics, and more.

Come join our vibrant community!
