The Team

Teams will be made up of 6-10 players. Players will compete on a side
Only the 10 designated at the beginning of one game may play. It is best out of 3 so after game 1 adjustments to the playing 10 may occur.

The Game

The object of the game is to eliminate all opposing players by getting them "OUT."

This may be done by

Hitting an opposing player with a LIVE thrown ball below the shoulders.

Catching a LIVE ball thrown by your opponent before it touches the ground.

Live Ball

A ball that has been thrown and has not touched anything, including the floor/ground, wall, or another player

The ball may be deflected off a ball and caught for an out.

Boundaries

During play, all players must remain within the boundary lines. Players may leave the boundaries through their end-line only to retrieve stray balls. They must also return through their end-line.

The Opening Rush

Game begins by placing the dodgeballs along the center line. Players then take a position behind their end line. Following a signal by the official, teams may approach the centerline to retrieve the balls. This signal officially starts the contest. Once a ball is retrieved it must be taken behind the attack-line before it can be legally thrown.  The attack line is the free throw line

Timing And Winning A Game

The first team to legally eliminate all opposing players will be declared the winner or best standing at the end of 50 minutes

All team members must have their I.Ds. No I.D=No Play

If games are going slow-staff member may create a box in which the final 2 players must play from…this can be the volleyball court lines (other teammates may roll them dodgeballs to continue play)

Coed Modifications

A team consists of 6 players on the court, 4 men and 2 women. However, teams are permitted to compete with as few as 4 players as long as the minimum number of men and/or women is 2 and the maximum number of men is 4.
