End of Year Greenhouse Celebration - December 6

Join us Tuesday evening, December 6, to transplant the last seedlings of the season and celebrate another year of relationships and work in our watershed. Stay for the whole time, or stop by to say hello; we'd love to see you either way. Warm beverages and snacks provided. RSVP here

Fall and spring events

Combining education with restoration work, we gather with many watershed folk twice a year to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Dates are posted as events on our Facebook page and website. Past events have included planting rain gardens and trees, storm drain labeling, transplanting at the greenhouse, and removing invasive species to protect natural areas. This past Spring Event was all about floodplain restoration. Join our newsletter emailing list for invites to our annual events and other updates.

Greenhouse transplanting parties

Throughout the spring and summer groups and individuals are invited to come help propagate the thousands of native plants needed for the restoration projects throughout the watershed. Volunteers like Kathy Harwood have transplanted with us for years providing needed support and smiles. You can check out our open volunteer times and sign up with us here.

Projects

Each year, we undertake projects ranging from small residential curb-cut rain gardens to large parking lot bioswales and floodplain restorations. There are tens of thousands of plants that go into the ground each Spring-Fall, and we need volunteers to make it all happen! At this time of year, we have wrapped up most of our field work and are now focusing our energy on the greenhouse, consolidating plants and preparing them for winter so we can plant them as more-robust plants in next year's projects. We'd love to have your help! You can read more about all of our ongoing and past projects here.

Groups

You bring the people, we’ll bring the activity. Places of worship, schools, neighborhood organizations, businesses, or any group can join in service for the watershed, while learning more and making memories together.
