The Venema Aquatic Center opened in February of 2009. It is home to the Calvin swim and dive teams.

The Venema Aquatic Center has 50-meter pool length with a moveable bulkhead. The 50-meter distance is used during summer long course swim competitions for age group athletes. The bulkhead allows for multiple configurations: water polo, competitive 25 meter or 25 yard, youth swimming instruction, long course – 50 meter. A soft-water diving bubbler system allows a 50/50 air-water mix for softer and safer landings in diving practice from either of the 1-meter or 3-meter diving boards. For instruction there is a “wet” classroom for easy movement to and from the pool and classroom. The Venema Aquatic Center seats roughly 500 spectators. It is home to the MIAA Swimming and Diving Championships on an every-other year basis. It has also hosted NCAA III Diving Regional competition on multiple occasions as well as the MHSAA Boys and Girls State Swimming and Diving Championship Finals.
