Calvin University's softball team plays at the main softball field – located at the southwest end of the Gainey Athletic Facility.
The field opened in 2003 and features dimensions of 220 feet to the right and left field foul poles as well as to straightaway centerfield. It features an adjacent batting cage and in 2025, a new wireless digital scoreboard was installed. It also has a two-story brick storage and press box facility. It has been the site of MIAA Tournament Championship competition as well as MHSAA Girls Softball State Tournament games.
