The Calvin men’s and women’s cross country teams compete on their home course located on Calvin’s east campus at the Gainey Athletic Complex.
The course is in the same location as the track and field complex. It runs adjacent to the Calvin Ecosystem Preserve and also winds west near Calvin’s Prince Conference Center before curling around the softball, tennis and baseball fields, which are also located inside the complex.
Course Highlights
- Can be run at 5K, 6K, and 8K distances (see 5K map, 6K map and 8K map)
- Spacious start/finish area
- Fan-friendly cheering spots
- Great flow for championship races and invitationals
- Set up for both high school and collegiate use
- Has hosted multiple MIAA Championship competitions as well as multiple NCAA III Great Lakes Regional competitions.
