Community Garden (Hampshire Street)

Image
calvin community garden
It's more than growing food; it's caring for God's creation, cultivating community, seeking justice.

The goal of the Calvin Community Garden is to raise awareness about the beauty and productivity of the land. Volunteering for the community garden is an excellent summer activity. It provides a relaxing natural atmosphere in which one can appreciate God's creation and God's purpose. Volunteers will learn how to take care of the garden and how to harvest some great homegrown plants and vegetables.

The community garden is available for academic events, Broene sessions, and other campus activities. We also provide some of the food served by Creative Dining Services in Calvin's dining halls.
