Biography
Robert J. Joustra is Professor of Politics and Spoelhof Chair at Calvin University. He has a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Politics and History from Redeemer University, a Master of Arts in Globalization Studies from McMaster University, and a PhD in Politics & International Studies from the University of Bath. He has previously worked for a decade at the think tank Cardus, and for 13-years as a professor at Redeemer University.
He is author, co-author, editor, and co-editor of a dozen books, including most recently Christ and Covenant in Global Politics: A Christian Introduction to International Relations, and editor - with his better liked and better educated wife, Dr. Jessica Joustra (Calvin Theological Seminary) - of Calvinism for a Secular Age. He is a Senior Fellow at Cardus, The Center for Public Justice, and a Senior Editor with The Review of Faith & International Affairs.
