The spring break intensive will explore some of the most iconic buildings designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.
We'll split our time between Chicago, Buffalo, and Grand Rapids, concentrating on Wright's home and studio in Oak Park, the Robie house in Hyde Park, the Darwin Martin house in Buffalo, and the May house here in Grand Rapids. We'll consider the wider context in which Wright was working and connect Wright's legacy to Calvin’s Knollcrest campus through William Fyfe, a Taliesen apprentice in the early 1930s.
