Kathryn Kish Sklar, SUNY-Binghamton, will speak on "Women Reformers and Ethical Origins of Modern America, 1900-1930," at 7 p.m. at the Gerald R. Ford Museum on March 16, 2000. This free lecture is part of Grand Rapids' colleges and universities observence of Women's History Month and is co-sponsored by Calvin College. Sklar shows how women of various faiths joined together in common cause to reform social practices and institutions in the early 20th century.
