Welcome to Calvin’s campus
Whether this is your first adventure away from home, or one of many different living situations you’ve had growing up, we’re confident you’ll find your place here. From roommates and suitemates (folks with whom you’ll share your suite), to new friends on your floor and in your halls, you’ll be blessed with relationships and connections. From supportive staff to a wide variety of student organizations and events, you’ll be blessed with opportunities and resources. You can’t help but come away from this experience changed—as a Christian, as a citizen, and as a learner.
New Students
Please watch for emails from housing@calvin.edu for complete move-in details. Our Moving In Brochure digital issue might help you with packing.
The general Move-in Day is Thursday, August 29, 2024, 8:30–11:30 a.m., but some students arrive earlier for a specific Fall Welcome prior to Welcome Week. Check your New Student Portal for your programming track, and watch your email.

laundry basket/bag and detergent (free use of washers and dryers in residence hall!)

small refrigerator (four feet tall or smaller) limit one per room

PLEASE NOTE: We recommend bringing no more than one carload of belongings when you move into the residence halls due to storage space and room size.
Current students
Students returning to the residence halls may move-in beginning on Friday, August 30, 2024, at 10 a.m., or throughout the weekend. Please contact housing@calvin.edu if you have questions.
