What happens when opposing ideas exist side by side? The Calvin Wind Ensemble will explore the power of contrast through music that balances tradition and change, darkness and light, motion and stillness. Featuring works by Holst, Grainger, Flagello, and others, this concert experience offers a journey through moments of contemplation, resilience, and transformation, celebrating the richness that emerges when tensions are not resolved, but embraced. We also welcome Dr. Stephen Peterson (Retired Director of Bands, University of Illinois) as part of this special collaboration. Join us on Saturday, November 14 at 7:30pm in the CFAC Auditorium; admission is free.
