Dr. Adam London from the Kent County Health Department will explore the impact of social factors and public health in the Kent County area. A historical perspective including discussion of the typhoid outbreaks of the early 1900s, the Great Influenza, HIV/AIDS, and more recent challenges such as COVID-19 and Mpox. Attendees will gain a perspective regarding the influence of social dynamics on health outcomes historically and how those factors continue to drive outcomes.
