This workshop is what happens when sustainability turns into page-turning magic with a personal touch!

We'll start by putting together a junk journal with an old book cover and an eclectic mix of papers, new and old. Then you'll have time to play through creative stations set up with ideas, instructions, materials, and tools for making pockets, tags, ephemera bundles, and textured embellishments. Experiment with natural elements from the Preserve in fun, accessible ways.

We provide all the ideas, instructions, materials, and tools you'll need to make the journal, finish a few pages, and make other creative elements to finish pages later. You can bring any of your own papers, envelopes, or flyers to make the journal uniquely yours.

Whether you're new to junk journaling or growing a journaling practice, we'll have inspiration ready for you.

Our art workshops surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Preserve. Open to ages 16+, with youth 10+ welcome alongside a parent. All skill levels are invited.
