Left Behind (35 min) tells the story of an Afghan refugee family separated from their oldest son during the evacuation of Kabul, and his harrowing 18-month journey to reunite with his family, newly resettled in West Michigan.
Please join us for a special sneak peek screening of this new short film, followed by a conversation with the participants, along with co-directors Mira Niagalova (Champlain College in Burlington, VT) and Sam Smartt (Calvin University).
