Since 1876, Calvin Theological Seminary and Calvin University have stood as beacons of Christ's promise to renew all things. We're celebrating this legacy at over 30 global locations with our 150th anniversary Calvin on the Road events!

Join us on Thursday, October 9 at 6 p.m. at The Morton Arboretum for an evening of:

• A joyful celebration of Calvin's legacy and future
• Inspiring campus updates
• Connection with Calvin representatives, alumni, & friends
• Heavy appetizers & beverages (cash bar available)

Registration is required to attend. Purchase tickets ($15/person) to secure your seat!

Event guests receive complimentary access to the arboretum on Thursday, October 9 (7 a.m.–on)! There are a variety of family-friendly exhibits to explore, including many gardens (Maze, Fragrance, and Grand) and living exhibits showcasing The Morton Arboretum's research. 

Parking & Logistics

Upon arrival, drive up to the gatehouse. Notify the attendant that you are arriving for "Calvin's 150th event" (wording doesn't need to be exact, but something to alert the attendant that you are with Calvin University). From there, they will let you onto the grounds.

Parking is free and bountiful outside of our venue space (Ginkgo Room; inside the Visitor Center). The gatehouse attendant will assist in directing you to the best location.

Dress Code

There’s no formal dress code—your presence is what matters most! That said, we’d love to see Calvin spirit on full display. If you have maroon and gold or Calvin gear, wear it proudly—whether that’s a favorite Calvin sweatshirt, a gold scarf, or a maroon tie. Come as you are—casual, dressy, or anywhere in between. Let’s celebrate 150 years together in true Knight style!
