Calvin Gameday Homecoming Student Tailgate

Come celebrate the first football game in Calvin's new stadium with a tailgate before kickoff!

Join us at North Field (near the football locker room), where Calvin Gameday will be grilling hot dogs, playing music, hosting a student dye competition, and showing football games on a giant screen. Grab some friends and enjoy yard games, hang out under the tents, and be part of the excitement surrounding this historic game day. Look for more announcements via Knight Life and Calvin Gameday!

Free food and prizes are for Calvin students only. Student game tickets go live online on September 21 at 9 p.m. and are expected to sell out. Don't have a game ticket? Come to the tailgate anyway and be part of the excitement! 

Alumni Tent: Stop by the Alumni Association tent between to meet new alumni director Becky Weima Bagnall '07, to claim Knight stickers and candy, and to learn more about fall 2026 alumni programming. The first 200 alumni (and their families) to stop by will also receive an ice cream treat from Huddy's, a new Hudsonville ice cream shop co-owned by Matt VanWoerkom '07—serving Hudsonville ice cream, of course!

The tailgate begins at 2 p.m. (lot opens at 1 p.m.).
