Women's tour group
Whether you travel as a single or invite friends or family to join you, you'll find this tour designed to welcome all women for exploration, reflection, and community. Accommodations are in single rooms for all.
Tour Host: Nancy Hull
During her 25 years as a professor at Calvin University, Nancy taught written rhetoric, business writing, and children’s literature. In the January Interims, she led students on writing adventures to Chicago; Boston; Chautauqua, N.Y.; and Concord, Mass. She was blessed to finish her career working in the Calvin Prison Initiative program with the dedicated writers at Handlon Prison.
Activity Level
Passengers should be able to keep pace with a group for the walking portions of this tour, which may involve navigating cobblestone streets and standing for periods of time. The Charleston walking tour is estimated at two hours and 2-2.5 miles; the Bonaventure Cemetery visit also involves a walking tour on grass paths.
Pricing
The cost for this tour is $4,359, which includes flights from Grand Rapids and single room accommodations as well as all breakfasts, one lunch, and three dinners. Flights from other airports can be arranged upon request ($75 fee). Tour size is limited to 20-22 passengers.
