Lauren Horras

Biography

Lauren holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Spring Arbor University and a master’s degree in Higher Education from Geneva College. One of her passions is to see college students discover their life’s calling—it’s what drew her to Calvin. She desires to equip students along their journey.

Before joining Calvin, Lauren was an Area Director of first year students at Trinity Christian College, traveled the world through Adventure in Mission’s World Race, and was the Associate Director of Admissions at Spring Arbor University.

Lauren loves to travel. Some of her favorite places she has visited include (but are not limited to): Italy, Kenya, Guatemala, Peru and New Zealand. She invites you to stop by her office and see some treasures from her travels. When Lauren isn’t traveling abroad, she’s spending time with her husband—most likely working on house projects or checking out a new coffee shop or restaurant in Grand Rapids.
