10:20am- 11:00am: MLK March around the campus – leaving from the chapel entrance.

11:10am-12pm: “The Work That Is Still To Be Done: The Importance Of Studying Intergroup Relations” by Jordan Daley of the Center for Social Research at the Commons Annex Lecture Hall.

12pm MLK Cake and Punch Reception – Multicultural Student Development Office.

12:30pm: January Series: “Why Are All The Black Kids Still Sitting Together In The Cafeteria? And Other Conversations About Race” by Beverly Daniel Tatum.

 (Off Campus Evening Opportunity) Free Community Event at Fountain Street Church.  ***Transportation is on your own.***

    6pm: 32 Annual Commercial Program with guest speaker, April Reign.

    7:30pm: I Dream Performance by the Grand Rapids Opera.
