Biography
Travis Harrington, a graduate of the program, is the lead clinical supervisor for the on-campus clinic located at Calvin University. During his graduate studies he grew increasingly interested in the speech-language pathologist's role in the medical setting and eventually garnered clinical placements at St Mary’s Hospital, Metro Hospital, and Spectrum Health-Butterworth Hospital, where he would later obtain employment in the acute care setting. While employed with Spectrum Health, Travis maintained a position in diagnosing and treating patients with various neurological disorders and was part of two specialized teams with concentration toward head and neck cancer populations as well as participation in awake craniotomies. Travis has continued interest in these populations as well as further academic interest in neurogenic fluency disorders.
