Mark D. Hessler

Biography

I grew up in rural Western Michigan and attended Grand Valley State University. I worked for the U.S. Government for over 27 years and have also served on various community boards and advisory committees. I joined the Calvin University faculty in 2021 and have served as the Associate Director of Pre-Law since 2022.

Outside of academia, I enjoy local politics, reading, running, watching college sports, and spending time with my family.
