Biography
Lauren Thorington has worked in the field of Speech Pathology for more than 12 years, primarily in adult inpatient rehabilitation. Lauren’s clinical expertise is in the areas of neurologic cognitive-communication disorders and dysphagia. Now that she has transitioned to Calvin in the role of Clinical Liaison, she maintains a PRN position with Corewell Health. Clinical education has always been a focus of Laurens as she values continued education and growth in the profession. Lauren is passionate about providing guidance and learning opportunities for students in both the medical field and on campus in Calvin’s SPAUD program.
