Biography
After college, I spent two years teaching middle school and high school science in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, before returning to Michigan where I got my PhD in Physiology at Michigan State University studying ovarian cancer. My husband and I have a dog, Callie (my prize for winning a hole-in-one bet in golf with my husband), and a daughter, Sydney. Outside of teaching, I love spending time with family and friends, playing games, being outside, golfing, listening to a good podcast, and traveling. I love learning new things, watching my toddler learn about the world around her, and helping my students learn about God's incredible creation.
