Geert Boer (1832-1904): Became Calvin's first professor in 1867.
B.J. Bennink (1864-1947):
Served as principal, superintendent or teacher at six Christian schools in the Midwest.

Claim To Fame:

Wild Boar Day is a tradition for this building, though "Boer" actually means "farmer" in Dutch. Apparently someone was a bit confused.
