Notes at Noon: Edye Evans Hyde, vocal jazz


NEW DAY, NEW TIME! The bold and captivating performances of the Notes at Noon Series will take place at 12:30pm on Thursdays in September.

Join us for the second Notes at Noon performance of the season featuring Edye Evans Hyde, vocal jazz and her husband, Michael Hyde, guitar. Ms. Hyde delighted the Notes and Noon audience during the 2014-2015 season and is back by popular demand. The concert will take place on Thursday, September 21 at 12:30pm in the Covenant Fine Arts Center Recital Hall on the campus of Calvin College. 

TICKETS: Admission is free; tickets are not required.

GUEST ARTIST BIO

Edye Evans Hyde was named 2011 West Michigan Jazz Society Musician of the Year and has been singing jazz and has been blues and pop music for over 30 years in West Michigan, Los Angeles, Asia and Europe. Over the years, Edye shared the stage with world-renowned blues singer Linda Hopkins, pop singer Michael Bolton, vocalist Maria Muldaur, actress Connie Stevens, the late Ray Charles, and Cuban trumpet player Arturo Sandoval. (to read more about Edye Evans Hyde, click here.)
