MIAA Commissioner's Cup standings were released Tuesday evening and the Knights
have once again finished in second place behind rival Hope College. Hope
claimed the Commissioner's Cup crown with 206 points with Calvin second with

the overall standings but Hope came up with a first place finish, four second
place finishes and one third place finish from its spring sports teams to
overtake the Knights. The MIAA Commisioner's title is the 11th straight for
Hope. Calvin shared the title with Hope in 2008 but has not won the outright
title since 2000.

edged Hope 96-94 in the nine MIAA men's sports. By edging Hope on the men's
side, Calvin claims the Men's All-Sports Award while Hope claims the Women's
All-Sports Award in addition to the (all-around) MIAA Commissioner's Cup.
