Film Collection
The Asian Studies Film Collection was assembled to provide students in Chinese and Japanese language courses with the opportunity to view both feature films and documentary films from China, Taiwan, and Japan. The hope is that by viewing these films students may learn more about the societies and cultures of these countries, while also getting valuable listening practice in the languages they are learning. Our film collection was made possible by generous funding from the Endowment Fund of the David and Shirley Hubers Asian Studies Program at Calvin University.
