Bethany Kemler

Speech Language Pathologist, Clinical Instructor

Biography

Bethany has experience working with children exhibiting articulation and phonology impairments, receptive and expressive language delays, cognitive impairments, stuttering, Down Syndrome, apraxia, and Autism Spectrum Disorders.  She has studied or been trained in Kaufman technique, PECS, The Hanen Program, and Lindamood-Bell Visualizing and Verbalizing.

Her clinical experience includes inpatient and long-term care, however the majority of Bethany's experience has taken place in schools.  She is passionate about working with children and about coordinating with school staff to provide the best possible services. 

Bethany plans to continue her education in reading interventions, AAC, and auditory processing.  She is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association and licensed by the state of Michigan. 

Bethany currently resides in Grand Rapids with her young daughter.
