Biography

Amy earned her bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Communications from Cornerstone University. After working as a marketing assistant in professional sports, Amy returned to Anderson University to attain her English Education certification (grades 5-12). Amy also holds a masters degree in Educational Leadership from Cornerstone University. She taught both middle school and high school English for many years. After teaching, Amy was a Director of Academics, Dean of English and Special Education, Support Services Coordinator, and, most recently, a school Administrator. 

Amy and her husband Trent have four children. She enjoys time with family, boating, crafting, and reading. Amy is excited to be at Calvin University as she seeks to serve students in the area of inclusion.
