Hofstaedter will be taking over a Calvin men's lacrosse team entering its third season as a varsity program and he is eager for the challenge.

"I am very excited to join the Calvin College family," said Hofstaedter. "Calvin is a Christian institution that also features excellence in academics and athletics. With that tradition as a base, I am confident that we can continue to build the men's lacrosse program at Calvin."

Calvin director of men's athletics Dr. Jim Timmer is also happy to bring Hofstaedter on board. "I am very pleased to bring Kyle in as our men's lacrosse coach," said Timmer. "He has a diverse and impressive background in athletics and academics. I am excited to see him work with the student-athletes with our men's lacrosse team."
