MEN'S GOLF
Calvin College senior Jon Kuiper has been named to the Ping Division III Great Lakes All-Region men's golf team announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America. Kuiper is one of 72 players spread across six different regions to be so honored.
A native of Grand Rapids and a graduate of Grand Rapids Christian High School, Kuiper was a first team All-MIAA selection this past fall, finishing second in the final MIAA standings with an average of 74.0 strokes-per-round.
Kuiper then continued his strong play during the spring, taking home medalist honors at the Heidelberg Spring Collegiate Classic in April.
This fall, Kuiper helped the Calvin men's golf team gain a share of second place in the final MIAA standings.
