TUCSON, AZ - Calvin picked up its second win in as many days with a 3-2 victory over George Fox University Tuesday afternoon. The Knights are now 2-0 on the season. Calvin jumped out to a 2-0 lead with a pair of runs in the bottom of the first, using an RBI double by junior Sass VanRooyen (Beamsville, ON) that scored sophomore Kim VandenAkker (Grand Rapids Christian HS) and a subsequent RBI single by freshman Aubree Thompson (Grand Rapids Christian HS) that plated VanRooyen.

George Fox tied the game on a two-run homer in the top of the second but the Knights broke the tie with a run in the bottom of the fifth. The winning rally began with a walk by senior Whisper Miller (Reed City HS).
