Bret Otte Previews Upcoming NCAA III Indoor Track and Field Championships;
Dan Gelderloos Previews Upcoming NCAA III Men's & Women's Swimming and Diving
Championships
 
MEN'S AND WOMEN'S TRACK AND FIELD
 
The Calvin men’s and women’s track and field program will send three
individuals to the NCAA III Indoor Track & Field Championships scheduled to be
held March 12 and 13 in Greencastle, Indiana.
 
The national meet will be hosted by DePauw University. Representing the Calvin
men will be senior Jed Christiansen in the 5,000 meter run. On the women’s
side, junior Sarah Reasoner will compete in the shot put and junior Rachel
Boerner will compete in the 400 meters.
 
The Calvin sports information office caught up with Calvin head coach Bret
Otte for an audio interview that previews the upcoming national meet and the
subsequent outdoor season.

MEN'S AND WOMEN'S SWIMMING AND DIVING
 
The Calvin men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will send a combined
total of nine individuals to the NCAA III Swimming and Diving Championships
March 17-20.
 
The national meet will be hosted by the University of Minnesota.
 
The Calvin Sports Information office caught up with head coach Dan Gelderloos
to preview Calvin’s chances at the national meet in the following audio
interview.
