ALEX MARCUS NAMED MIAA PLAYER OF THE WEEK IN BASEBALL

For the first time in his collegiate career, Calvin junior outfielder Alex
Marcus of Willmar, Minn.
(Willmar Senior HS) has been named the MIAA's Baseball Player of the Week.
Marcus batted 9-for-21 this psat weekend with two homeruns and a double as the
Knights split their four-game series against Adrian. He scored eight runs and
had six RBIs in the series.

Marcus is currently batting .339 on the year including .372 in conference play.

Calvin returns to action on Monday when it hosts Kalamazoo in a conference
doubleheader slated to start at 2:00 p.m. The twinbill will be broadcast via
