MEN'S TENNIS
Aquinas 7, Calvin 0
The Calvin men's tennis season opened its dual match campaign with a 7-0 loss to cross-town rival and NAIA power Aquinas Monday night. Calvin's only victory came at No. 1 doubles as its team of sophomore Ricky Tilton (Lancaster, PA) and senior Rafael Siebenschein (Lynden, WA) picked up an 8-2 victory. Aquinas took two of the three doubles matches however to claim the lone doubles (pro-sets) point.
Calvin will now prepare for a weekend trip to Wisconsin where it will compete in a pair of non-conference dual matches, traveling to Concordia-Mequon on Friday and to Carthage on Saturday.
