CALVIN BASKETBALL TEAMS LEARN THEIR NCAA III TOURNAMENT DESTINATIONS

The brackets for the NCAA III men's and women's basketball tournaments are
set and both Calvin teams have learned their opponents and destinations.

The Calvin men's basketball team will travel to nearby Holland, Michigan.
The Knights will compete in a four team Friday/Saturday regional hosted by Hope
College at the DeVos Fieldhouse with Calvin (22-6) facing Wisconsin-LaCrosse
(20-7) in a first round game Friday night. Hope (26-2) will face
Wisconsin-Lutheran (14-14) in Friday's other first round game. The Friday
winners will meet in a second round game Saturday night at the DeVos
Fieldhouse.

The meeting between Calvin and Wisconsin-LaCrosse will be the first-ever
between the two teams. Wisconsin-LaCrosse is a member of the Wisconsin
Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC). Like Calvin, the Eagles gained an
at-large bid to the NCAA III Tournament.

On the women's side, Calvin will travel to St. Louis, Missouri. The Knights
will compete in a four-team Friday/Saturday regional hosted by Washington
University of St. Louis. Calvin (23-4) will face Carroll College of Wisconsin
(21-4) in a first round game Friday night. Washington University (23-2) will
face Manchester (20-7) in the other first round game Friday night. The Friday
winners will meet in a second round game Saturday night at Washington
University.

Calvin and Carroll College have never met in NCAA III Tournament play. Carroll
advanced to the NCAA III Tournament by winning the championship of the Midwest
Conference Tournament this past weekend, allowing the Pioneers to gain an
automatic bid to the national tournament.

Tipoff times and ticket information information will be announced at a later
time.
