CALVIN SPORTS REPORT FOR MARCH 29, 2004
BASEBALL
Calvin's baseball doubleheader at Kalamazoo Monday was postponed until Tuesday
because of wet grounds. The doubleheader has been rescheduled for Tuesday at
2:00 p.m.. Both games Tuesday are scheduled 7-inning contests.
MEN'S GOLF
The Calvin men's golf team came up with a standout team performance at the
Muskingum College Invitational this past weekend at the Eaglesticks Golf Club,
finishing tied for third in a field of 13 teams with a two-day team score of
591. Otterbein took first place at 576 with Ohio Wesleyan second at 583.
Calvin finished tied for third with the College of Wooster.
Calvin was led by freshman Jeff TenBrink (Kalamazoo Christian HS) who finished
with a two-day total of 142 strokes as he fired rounds of 72 and 80.
Calvin returns to action on April 9 and 10 when it competes at an invitational
hosted by Denison University in Granville, Ohio.
