For the first time in her career, Calvin College junior Cassie Christopher has

Knights moved into a tie for first place in the MIAA standings.

An outside hitter, Christopher had 18 kills, 12 digs and a career-high 8
    service aces in a 27-30, 30-17, 30-27, 24-30, 15-12 victory over Hope Wednesday

digs-per-game. Christopher leads Calvin in kills (248) and kills-per-game
(3.59). She also had an overall hitting percentage of .230. In conference play
this year, Christopher is fourth in the MIAA in kills-per-game (3.42) and eighth

the conference standings with a 10-3 league mark. Calvin will close out its MIAA
regular season schedule on Tuesday with a match at Kalamazoo scheduled to begin
at 6:30 pm. The seeds for the MIAA Tournament (October 30, November 1 & 3) will
be determined after the completion of the MIAA regular season. The final
league champion will be determined by a combination of the regular season and
    league tournament.

In addition, Calvin will host the prestigious Midwest Invitational this Friday
and Saturday at the Calvin Fieldhouse. The Invitational will include several
    nationally and regionally-ranked teams.
