    CALVIN SPORTS REPORT FOR OCTOBER 11, 2001

    WOMEN'S SOCCER

    INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Calvin picked up its eleventh win of the year 1-0 on
    Thursday evening amidst rain and wet conditions at Anderson University. The
    victory moves the Calvin winning streak to four games. The Knights outshot
    Anderson 20-8 while holding the advantage on corner kicks 12-2.

    Calvin sophomore Tricia Dyk broke the tie in the 80th minute of play as she
    collected a Larissa Onderlinde centering pass and drove the ball into the right
    side of the goal. Dyk's goal, her 20th of the year, marks the 5th consecutive
    game she has scored a goal.

    Calvin freshman Kristin Jamieson tallied the shutout, amassing five saves in 90
    minutes of work.

    The Knights will return to action on Saturday, October 13, traveling to Adrian
    for a 12 p.m. start.
