The Prince Center is a non-smoking facility. Guests of the Prince Center wishing to smoke must go to designated outdoor locations at the east and west ends of the building.

Not at all. We have 69 beautifully appointed guest rooms with many of the amenities of a “regular” hotel.

Yes, the Prince Conference Center is wheelchair accessible. Please request a wheelchair accessible room when making a reservation.

We do not have a pool inside the Prince Center. However, we have an on-site fitness center which features a treadmill, a stationary bike and a four-way weight machine. All of our guests are welcome to use the Calvin College health facilities, which feature a pool, weight-training rooms, Nautilus weight equipment and gymnasium. Please note that there may be limited hours for these facilities.

Yes. We offer free shuttle service between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. to and from Gerald R. Ford airport. We do require a notice of 7 days prior to arrival at the airport in order to schedule the shuttle. If proper cancellation notice of 24 hours is not given, a $25 fee will be added to the guest bill. No, but we do serve banquets and dinners for groups of all sizes, from four to 350. We are also located very near 28th Street in Grand Rapids, which has hundreds of restaurants, ranging from quick and light to elegant fine dining.

Cancellations made before 6 p.m. the day of arrival will not be charged a fee.

Meeting and Social Functions

320 persons Banquet Style and over 400 persons Theater Style in the Great Hall. Our overnight accommodations can sleep up to 261.

Events requiring food and beverages will be catered in-house. The Prince Conference Center has a very experienced catering department headed by our Certified Executive Chef and Catering Manager. Select from our extensive menu, or our Certified Executive Chef would be happy to customize a menu to anyone's taste.

The Prince Conference Center, being owned by Calvin College, is located on Calvin’s campus, which is an alcohol-free campus. Alcohol is not allowed anywhere on campus, and is not served at events at the Prince Center. Please refer to our Policy Statement.
