Heritage Class Lecture

The Heritage Class committee invites you back to campus for the annual heritage class lecture.

Harlan Kredit, class of 1961 will join us for a lecture titled “Our National Parks – Past, Present and Future”.

Our National Parks have a unique history and are being visited at a record pace, which brings a special set of challenges. Having taught high school science for the past 59 years and worked as a park ranger in Yellowstone for the past 49 summers, Harlan Kredit '61, will share his perspective on the challenges of our National Park System, with an emphasis on the unique features of Yellowstone National Park and its role in the National Park system.
Harlan was a high school science teacher for 11 Years at Unity Christian High school in Hudsonville, Michigan and for 49 years at Lynden Christian High School in Lynden, Washington. For the past 49 summers, Harlan has spent his time as a ranger at Yellowstone National Park.

The lecture will start at 10:00 am in the Covenant Fine Arts Center Recital Hall. There will be time for coffee and conversation following the talk. We hope you can join us.
