Improve your SAT or ACT score
Each semester up to 40 high school students participate in a six-week session in which Calvin students provide SAT or ACT tutoring assistance.
The Excel SAT/ACT Tutoring Program is available to 9th through 12th grade students from the greater Grand Rapids area.
The spring Excel session is currently planned to take place in-person, however, state and university regulations may require part or all of the program to go virtual due to COVID-19. Program participants will be updated of any changes as soon as possible.
Tutoring sessions are scheduled on Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday from 4:00–5:00 p.m. or 4:30–5:30 p.m. Sessions are assigned according to participant and tutor availability, and according to participant grade and prior test score.
