The 2016 Elections and Their Consequences: Diverse Perspectives

There are seven posters and presentations by the students in POLS 318, the American Elections and Mass Media class. After a brief introductory presentation by Prof. Koopman, students will have posters and make presentations on various aspects of the 2016 elections, particularly the presidential election contest and its coverage by both old and new media. There are presentations on the overall election dynamics, key aspects of media coverage and framing, voting behavior, and the implications of the elections on both foreign and domestic policy.
