Forrest Wakeman Faculty Recital

Dr. Wakeman will present a lecture recital entitled minimalism and the piano.  This event will feature performances of piano pieces by Philip Glass, John Adams, Max Richter, and Ludovico Eiunaudi, and will conclude with a presentation of Hans Otte’s large scale minimalist work The Book of Sounds.  Come prepared to learn about a wonderful musical genre and enjoy a different kind of listening experience!
