Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery: Bringing the Bench to the Bedside

Vascular neurosurgery, the practice of caring for blood vessel pathologies in the brain and neck, can be both highly complex and incredibly rewarding. The field was built on high-level quality research, generating evidence and finding new ways to help some of the highest acuity patients. The therapies and surgeries to help these patients are built on not only clinical research, but new efforts to bring the bench to the bedside are identifying new ways to help these patients heal and recover following severe neurologic insults.
