Prof. Peterson will describe the creation, evolution, and complexities of the US-led international cooperative order that emerged after World War II ended, exploring the successes and limitations of this international order and examining the stresses that it currently faces, including the policies of current US President Donald Trump. Prof. Peterson will conclude by considering how Americans can best ensure international peace and prosperity by helping forge a more inclusive international order and revitalizing US democracy.
