On Saturday, November 5, Calvin College's Bunker Interpretive Center will host its First Saturdays program "Discover the Wild Turkey."

From 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. volunteer naturalist Nancy McIntyre will lead families through a program, which will feature activities and stories designed to help children and their families learn more about wild turkeys. A fun turkey craft will also be available for families to create at the end of the program.

First Saturdays programs take place at the Bunker Interpretive Center the first Saturday of every month during the school year. These free programs are geared for the whole family to enjoy and registration is not required unless designated otherwise. Families are encouraged to dress for the weather and come prepared for walking outside in a variety of weather conditions.
