Calvin formally welcomes students back to campus

Summary: Calvin College formally welcomes students back to campus on Tuesday, September 7, with its 2010 Convocation ceremony. The ceremony begins at 9:50 a.m. in the Van Noord Arena.

The Calvin community formally ushers in the new school year on Tuesday, September 7, with its annual Convocation ceremony. Calvin chaplain Mary Hulst will deliver the keynote address titled: "YES, And..." The message will center around Philippians 1:6 "being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."

Following the Convocation ceremony the Calvin community will enjoy a picnic lunch on the Commons Lawn.
